April 2016 Fishing Report
INSHORE: The warm weather is heating up our in-shore waters a bit and bringing the Snook out. We’re also seeing some good action for Trout and Pompano. Also a good chance that we will run into schools of Mackerel and if that wasn’t good enough, the Reds are starting to school up too! Fishing is good, come and get some!
OFFSHORE: Springtime means Kingfish and Mackerel from 5-20 miles and we’re doing this along with some bottom fishing on our 4 & 6 hour trips. We’re finding Wahoo and Black Fin Tuna Tuna between 35 – 100 miles out. Grouper fishing is getting really good from about 85 – 150 feet. Of course the Amber Jack bite is always good. Snapper fishing has been productive most every day we’ve been able to get out.
Don’t forget that JUNE 1 RED SNAPPER and GAG GROUPER opens 10 hour + trips are filling up really fast for so CALL AND BOOK YOUR TRIP.
