Our Sarasota inshore waters for December 2018 have been turning up some nice Gag Grouper and Black Drum. We are also seeing Pompano return and the Sheepshead bite is coming with the cooler weather. Redfish are sneaky and throw back Snook has good action. Tripletail – Tripletail – Tripletail too! It s a really pretty time to be out on our bay and near shore waters so come out and fish with us on Reel Addiction.

Offshore waters on Bad Habit are seeing Gag Grouper in 10′-150′ and Reds from 90′-130′. The usual suspects of Mangrove, Lang and Yellowtail Snapper have also been productive although high winds and sloppy seas have kept us off the water quite a few days the past few weeks.

Oh, one last thing. Have any of you ever caught a Lesser Amberjack. These are great eating fish found off of ledges and hard bottom that are one of my favorite eating fish. Come get some!
