Many of you send messages asking how the fishing is this summer. The best way is to simply follow Bad Habit on Facebook here as we post images and comments on a regular basis.

In case you missed some of our posts the fishing is hot and there is no better place to beat the summer heat than on the water with a cool breeze coming off the water.

Offshore:

Snapper and grouper seem to be our most requested species to target. Because snapper trips are sought after and booked in advance, cancellations do occur as life has a way of getting in the way of big fun. You can always send us a message to see if any holes in our snapper trips have come up like a few did last week.

We are also seeing Amberjack, Mahi, Reds and Barracuda among the other usual suspects.

Inshore:

It’s tarpon season and we’ve hooked some nice ones so far this season. In addition, we are catching lots and lots of snook, snapper and big fighting jacks to keep us really busy.

The inshore and nearshore fishing is great and there is no better place to be fishing the Sarasota waters than on Reel Addiction.
